Beliefs, Morality, and Homosexuality

The definition of morality is, "beliefs about what is right behavior and what is wrong behavior." The word 'belief' is defined as, "an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists.... trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something."

Various evangelical enterprises, and the Christian, "way of life," as adherents prefer to label their pious polemic (primarily to distance themselves from other belief systems), have delineated morality to suit their specific paradigm and deity.

The bully of all belief systems (the one with the most followers, the higher net worth and the most influential), is Christianity.

Here's what the Christian God says about homosexuality:
  • "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination."
    ~ Leviticus 18:22
  • "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them."
    ~ Leviticus 20:13
In 325 BCE, a group of about 300 "Chruchmen" (aka Bishops) convened at the "First Council of Nicaea" to resolve a number of issues, such as: the date of the 'Vernal or Spring Equinox', aka Easter; which writings or articles would be included in the Christian holy book; who would be the protagonist of the Roman story of salvation; and deal with the problem created in the Eastern church by Arianism, a 'heresy' first proposed by Arius of Alexandria that affirmed that Christ is not divine but a created being.

Since the majority of the articles were lifted directly from Egyptian mythology, the 'saviors' name was a toss-up between Horus, Mithras, or Dionysus. The bishops, along with emperor Constantine I decided on the latest apocryphal messiah.

Be advised, the first emperor of Rome, "Constantine the Great," was not only guilty of familicide - he ordered the death of his eldest son Crispus and later the execution of his wife Fausta - but was also responsible for killing thousands of innocent men, women, and children.

Another little nugget, Horus was baptized by "Anup the baptizer," 3000 years later Jesus was baptized by "John the Baptist." Coincidentally, both Anup and John were beheaded.

Law-givers before Moses were Mises, Minos, Manos and myriad others. All the outlandish fables in the Bible and the Qur'an(two birds of the same sinister feather) were bandied about long before the latest 21st century myths that has so mesmerized 2.6 billion Christians and 1.8 billion Muslims into believing their 'divinely inspired book', the 'be all that ends all' in spiritual literature.

Here's what Allah says about homosexuality:
  • "For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.... And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone)."  ~ Quran 7:80-84
  • "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing."
    ~ Quran 7:81
  • "If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, Leave them alone."
    ~ Quran 4:16
In the 21st century, the aforementioned scriptures pertaining to alternate lifestyles have been conveniently disparaged and discouraged (as they should be) but the reason is not a just one. The reason that most religious charlatans steer clear of these scriptures is based on accommodating, cajoling and duping the masses in order to assure that the colossal orthodox ponzi scheme of selling indulgencies and eternal life continues in perpetuity.
